Publicity Portrait Shenanigans

I've been looking at early Doctor Who publicity portraits, for no other reason other than my brain is weird.

These three publicity portraits, I don't think they were released at the time. For some reason.
It looks like someone has entered the room, she didn't know who it was, but it turned out to be Ian lol.
These were ripped from < href="https://twitter.com/claytonhickman/status/970029779322851328">a post on Twitter by Clayton Hickman, and it was a pain to do.
I actually thought that the first pic was the same as the one below (it isn't), but now I have the theory that there's a more "complete" version in the archives somewhere, since it's part of the same set (ie it's actually a waist-up photo, but it was cropped, see how it's not a high quality scan as the top three).
Just thinking about Barbara here I guess (ignore the watermark, it was the best I could find).
"Oh hello!" I thought they were the same picture, but with a different crop, but nope.
This one is my favourite. What is happening? Why is he eating the pencil? Is Russell trying to be sexy? Or is it his weird sense of humour? Who knows!
And all of this for...
Confused puppy. I have never seen this one before. But it's delighful.
